Quality Pet Care, Pet Sitting and Dog Walking

Whether you are at work all day, on vacation for a weekend, a week or longer or you might not be physically able to care for your pets, I'm here to help. Having grown up with dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, gerbils, bunnies, fish and guinea pigs all my life, I'm a true lover of all things furry, feathered, hairy or scaly. Caring for animals and creating loving relationships is something that I am truly passionate about. Your furry family members will be cared for as if they are my own, and I ensure that they receive the highest quality of care.

Educated & Experienced

With years of experience caring for a variety of different pets, you can rely on me to care for your pets when you're away or simply need my help. Walking dogs is one of the most therapeutic remedies in life and hanging out with a furry friend while getting exercise is a win win for me!

Certifications: Niagara College Pet Sitting Course including Pet First Aid & CPR, as well as experienced & comfortable dispensing medications. Insured & Bonded with Binks Insurance Brokerage.

Reliable, Local & Independently Owned

Centrally located in the south end of St. Catharines and independently owned. I am flexible and can be to your home in a flash to care for your pets if you're running late, stuck in traffic, flights are delayed or any number of reasons. I can accommodate your pets needs by being available for a late night/before bed pee break and be back again first thing in the morning for snuggles, a short visit and a pee break. I am prepared for any pets needs and ensure that your pet will receive the best care, love and affection while you have entrusted them with me. Their happiness and well-being is my priority and I strive to provide a service I would want my own pets to receive.

Services & Prices

Please Note: Special accommodations can be made for certain circumstances. Holidays and emergency visits are subject to a premium rate (add $10/visit). Clients outside of St. Catharines city limits are subject to each visit being a minimum 60 minute visit plus a $20 mileage charge per visit. Prices below reflect the care of one dog. Additional dogs add $10 per dog per visit.

Fifteen minute visit

$15

A fifteen minute visit will include belly rubs and snuggles, a pee break in the backyard, medications given (if needed), fresh water refill, meal service (if needed), a treat or two and a daily written update for you to review upon returning home.

Thirty minute visit

$25

A thirty minute visit will include belly rubs and snuggles, a short walk , a pee break in the backyard (if needed before and/or after walk), medications given (if needed), fresh water refill, meal service, litter box check/cleaning, a treat or two and a daily written update for you to review upon returning home.

Sixty minute visit

$35

A sixty minute visit will include belly rubs, snuggles, play time, a long walk , a pee break in the backyard (if needed before and/or after walk), medications given (if needed), fresh water refill, meal service, litter box check/cleaning, a treat or two and a daily written update for you to review upon returning home.

Add-on services

Your peace of mind while on vacation (or working long hours) is very important to me. The services listed below are additional charges to the services listed above and can only be used and/or combined with the services listed above.

Lights, curtains, peace of mind plus...

While you are on vacation, I will check your mailbox daily and bring in all mail and newspapers, I will turn lights on at dusk and off at dawn, I will draw the curtains in the evening and open again in the morning and I will adjust blinds by opening and closing where needed. Additionally, I will do a general walk around the home and property to ensure all things are in order and your home appears to be lived in while you are away.

Other services such as garbage and recycles to the curb, watering indoor & outdoor plants/flowers etc. can be discussed for an additional charge. Niagara Pet Care does have a 24 hour cancellation policy in place in order to cover costs & scheduling. If less than 24 hours notice has been given, you will be charged in full.
